For additional information, refer to the user's guide and/or Help menu. • OmniPage Pro X is unable to scan Natively with PhotoShop Plug-ins on Mac OS X. • OmniPage Pro X requires a standard TWAIN compliant driver to scan Natively on Mac OS X into OmniPage. When a compliant Native TWAIN driver is not available, we recommend scanning with a Classic TWAIN driver or a Classic Plug-In. • We recommend setting up the scanner when OS 9.x is launched with a Classic Driver or Plug-In when the driver does not appear in the scanner selection window on Mac OS X after enabling the option: “Scan in Classic Mode”.

It is not recommended to setup the scanner in OS 10.2. Note: It is possible that some scanners that worked in Classic mode on OS 10.1 may not work in classic mode on OS 10.2. • Scanning in Native Mode is not an option for all scanners, scanning in Classic Mode may be the only option.

• Changes made in the Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) will prevent the OmniPage Pro X installer from operating successfully. OmniPage may operate properly when installed prior to the 10.6 upgrade, but OmniPage Pro X will not install in the Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard) environment. If you have purchased OmniPage Pro X within the last 30 days, please contact Nuance Customer Service. Limited testing has shown that OmniPage Pro X does run properly on Mac OS 10.0 through Mac OS 10.5.6.
