There are a lot of coders with experience on FF, and I would like to know there opinions regarding MT4 compile default service after build 600+ How safe is sharing.ex4 with someone assuming you never want that person to have that file source. I know after build 600+ MetaQuotes use a different algorithm for compiling and is more hard to have them decode, but how really hard is for for brokers or VPS providers for example? Cfg dlya kss v34 dlya streljbi bez razbrosa.

.ex4 decompiler under build 600 If need.ex4 decompiler for under build 600 we can give you software who can do this for free, for check if your file is under/over buid 600 just need open your ex4 file with notepad. Dec 20, 2015  Was this a pre- MT4 build 600 file? I'm asking because I thought that since the 600+ build it was no longer possible to decompile ex4 files. I regularly share things myself here (not always the mq4 file) so now I'm a little worried.

In case I am uploading my EX4 file to VPS how safe is it? For more security let's say you can add a private.dll library, but even that can decompile. Also I am not talking about a reverse engineering on the code since that will involve multiple resources and it will never be 100% accurate, I am talking about a direct backdoor in the compile system that will allow someone to decompile the code direct. Anyone heard or saw that this would be possible? Not in theory but practical since in theory we all know is possible. Beside expiration date of the software, licence system, no global variable and.dll external library any other security measurement can take by the developer? For more security let's say you can add a private.dll library. IgnoredI've been wondering about the same thing. Realistically though, I can't see how the VPS could easily monitor which alogrithms work and which don't, since they don't have access to view your trade account.

They would need to maliciously hack in to see your transaction history in order to determine whether or not your algorithm is worth anything at all (remember that most traders are losing money anyway.) Otherwise, they would have to decompile every algo they have and test them, which is a quite a lot of work. Also, actually making decompiled code useful is difficult, since everything gets given default variable names and the coding structure is reverted to a very simple form. So it would be tough to reverse engineer your algorithm and sell it again.

But as you said, not impossible. Lastly, assuming they've done all this, the odds of them trading in large enough volumes with your algo to actually affect the outcome of your trades is extremely small. In a $4 trillion a day market, this would need to be someone from Deutsch Bank stealing your code to make it unprofitable for you (unless perhaps you are scalping and trading very very short timeframes?). Anyway, I would like to hear from some traders with more experience about this. I'm not new to programming or trading, but I am new to the world of algorithmic trading. Nfs most wanted save game with all blacklist cars.

I will do some digging on the internet and see what I can find. IgnoredOf course the VPS provider don't stay to monitor all signals, but the brokers does for there own protection.

Also the broker does have you're trade log and IP of trading execution. So he can know very easy what VPS you use and request EA from VPS provider. Beside that, we assume there is no backdoor in MT4 that allow EX4 files to be extracted direct from MT4 protocol.

(Paranoia scenario) I don't want this to be understand wrong, I am not saying brokers or VPS providers are necessary bad, this discussion is pure technical, assuming the worst can happen, and what will be the best protection.

Hail the reader. A few years ago I had a derivative from the normal MacD coded/adjusted by a good soul who did the work for me. At the time he sent me the ex4 file - it was sufficient and did the work at that time - not the Mql4 file - I want to try and use it again, I have written to him but there is no reply - I do not know if he is still alive or whatever. The indicator is basically a non repainting Macd with a number of levels in the Macd body.
