Sorry if this is not in the right section of this website, I did not know where to ask my question. Anyway, this is the problem: Since a few days some software keeps popping up, it is called 'ALYac'. After trying to manually uninstall it, it keeps reinstalling after every reboot, while also disabling windows defender. I even tried to delete all registry's with the registry editor, even that did not work.

I have no clue what to do next, google searching came up with a few files I should delete (including registry files), but even they do not do the job. It keeps installing itself and disabling every security on my laptop (Acer Aspire V3-772G).

I am running Windows 8.1 64 bit. I wonder if that is legit alyac program.

I mean if you didnt install it in the first place. I been using this program for years and never had problem like that (i use korean). And i never seen it disabling other security. And i dont know if there is english ver. Doesnt seems like i can download it. I been keeping my eyes on it for awhile for my little brother.

But it has been on coming soon only which still is. But anyways i did little search on Korean sites and this how to install Alyac in there system. Go to settings 2. On the search section go to advance setting 3. Turn off self-defense. (this is what might cause you the problem) 4.

Save and go to PC management?(says minimize in korean but not sure in english.) 5. Manage boot -> startprogram 6. Check alyac and press delete.

Try deleting alyac now. But like said this is how to delete korean version of alyac.

I am not sure how you got hold of alyac in the first place if it is in english since it is not out yet (for my information that is.)and if that doesnt help try search for self-defense setting in alyac. That might help. Edit: what i really should've asked was is it in english? Screenshot plz? Who knows it might havent been korean ver since i didnt see it for myself. I wonder if that is legit alyac program.

Who knows it might havent been korean ver since i didnt see it for myself It installed itself after installing WiFi software for the University of Seoul, as far as I know it installed on everyone's laptop. I send an email to AlYac and they told me how to delete in safe mode and everything, this still does not solve it since I discovered it is embedded in the WiFi software for some reason. Anyway, I disabled start-up and services. Right now it doesn't do anything and Windows Defender is up and running again. I guess I'll delete it when I get back and don't need the WiFi software again. Thanks a lot for your reply!
